No Harsh Chemicals
Once you decide on a flooring option, Renaissance goes to work. Our refinishing process is a multi-step sanding process beginning with 36 or 40 grit sandpaper to remove old finish and level your floor. The floor is then resanded 2 more times with higher grit sandpaper before being finished with a hundred grit screen and a buffer and a UFO sanding system to provide a surface ready for stains and finishes.
And Renaissance Floor Restoration and Construction, Inc, is careful…because wood floor dust can be a carcinogen, we do our best not only to protect you and your family but also to protect our skilled technicians. We take extra effort to provide a Dustless Sanding System, using an Oneida Dust Collection System to reduce airborne dust.
